A 1U high, rack mounted monitor, keyboard and touch pad with an integrated 16 port KVM suitable for use with systems that employ either a PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse interface.
The unit uses an innovative dual slide design that allows the keyboard/touch pad and the LCD display to be extended separately. When not required, the keyboard may be pushed back into the rack, leaving the LCD display still available and allowing server status to be monitored at any time.
The KVM allows up to 16 servers to be connected to the single monitor, touch pad and keyboard. The keyboard includes dedicated keys and indicators for KVM control, and an on screen display is available showing system status at a glance. An additional monitor, keyboard and mouse may be connected to the rear of the unit.
