Product Details

These products provide remote secure network access via a built-in web server enabling each IEC320 C13 power socket to be individually switched or power cycled. Total switch load and (optionally) temperature and humidity are also reported.

The power switches are available as an 8-way 1U horizontally rack mounted unit,and in 16 and 24-way vertical rack mounted units. The switches accept Slave units which increase the socket count but use the communication facilities of the base units.

The 8 and 16 way units are available with a 16A IEC320/C20 inlet socket, and require a suitable input power cord (such as the CBL-PTCORD-3 or CBL-PTCORD-4 options). The 8, 16 and 24 way units are also available with a hardwired input (2.5m) terminating in a IEC309 32A plug.

Each socket is rated at up to 10A, and the combined power draw is up to 16A (IEC320/C20 input socket units) or 30A (hardwired input units).

Remote access and security is available through a selection of interfaces: Web, SSL, SSH, Telnet, SNMP or RS-232 access.

Each power switch can connect to two (optional) temperature & humidity probes which report environmental conditions through the Web interface and which can generate SNMP traps.

The units include an input current monitor which precisely measures the aggregate current draw (in amps) and is displayed in a LED window on the power switch and reported remotely via the web browser or serial interface.

The Remote Power Switches also support an Enterprise View PDU Manager. This gives the engineer the ability to manage a large installation of Networked remote Power Switches from one location, view and access up to 1,000 remote Power Switches from a single web interface.
